I’m super excited to share my new Four Seasons Wrap with you! This has been a long time in coming! It’s a rectangular wrap made with different motifs that go with each season.

You may recall the Four Seasons Boomerang Shawl design I published at the beginning of 2026. That one was made for DK-weight yarn, but some of you asked if it would be possible to make it using fingering-weight yarn. While it is possible, it’s a bit tricky, so I thought it would be better to make a separate design intended for fingering-weight yarn. That is how the Four Seasons Wrap came to be.
The two designs have some similarities and some differences too. As I mentioned, the Four Seasons Boomerang Shawl uses DK-weight yarn, and the new Four Seasons Wrap was made for fingering-weight yarn. The boomerang shawl is, well, a boomerang shape, like this:

The new Four Seasons Wrap, on the other hand, is a rectangle:

Both were made to use the Vivaldi’s Four Seasons colorways like these:

Both designs have the same Snowflake and Falling Leaves motifs, but the stitches for Summer and Spring are unique to each design.
The Four Seasons Wrap is knit from the bottom up, starting with winter and ending with spring, but it’s made to be worn with spring at the top. Let me show you a closeup of each season:

Spring has tiny flowers that form a diamond shape, summer has a variation on the seafoam stitch, autumn has falling leaves, and winter has snowflakes.
I think Autumn is my favorite season of the four, both in terms of how it looks and how it is knit:

None of these stitch combinations is terribly difficult, and each one is a lot of fun to knit! That said, I would consider this to be a good pattern for an intermediate knitter or maybe an adventurous advanced beginner simply based on the counting needed for the lace sections.
I have the pattern available on its own here on my website and here on Ravelry.
I also have kits available on my website right here. If you buy the yarn and the pattern together, you get 50% off the pattern.
Prefer the DK-weight boomerang shawl? You can find the kits for that one on my website right here.

New Yarn Winding Service
We are now offering yarn winding as a service! It’s always best to keep your yarn in hank form until you’re ready to use it because there’s no tension on the yarn that way. However, if you plan to use your yarn soon and it isn’t convenient for your to wind it yourself, we can do it for you! There’s now a checkbox right above the Add to Cart button that says “Cake My Yarn.”

Just check the box if you want us to do it for you. You’ll see the additional $3 per skein in the cart.
Yarn winding is not available for the clubs or for special items like Advent calendars, but it is available for individual skeins of yarn and sets too.

Art Batt of the Week
I just finishing spinning some yarn using one of my Stella Maris art batts. My daughter Elizabeth first designed this luxurious art batt. It has several shades of blue and teal merino, bright blue bamboo, silver baby alpaca, white mulberry silk, and gold muga silk. Here is what the art batts look like:

Here is a 2-ply skein I spun up using Stella Maris this week:

It has 70% feltable fibers, so you can use it to felt or to spin. You can find Stella Maris right here.
I think that’s everything for this week. I’m heading back to the studio to keep dyeing the Advent calendar colorways. I am on the 6th colorway out of 25 right now. Have a great weekend!
