Would you prefer to go on a voyage or have a party? Well, this week you can choose either or both as yarn. I have dyed up my my Odyssey sets on several bases and Party Like It’s 2021 on several more.

I now have Party Like It’s 2021 on most of my yarn bases. I originally dyed this colorway a few months into the pandemic in 2020. The colorway is made of speckles and more speckles in bright, joyful colors. It is great fun on its own, and it also plays nicely with many other colorways.

At the end of 2020, I asked everyone in my Facebook group whether I should change the name to Party Like It’s 2022, but everyone agreed that it should stay the same and that the meaning of the name would be clear for years to come.

Odyssey Sets

If you would prefer a voyage to a party, you’re in luck. A couple months ago, I created a set of three skeins based on Homer’s Odyssey–the return voyage from Troy after the war there ended. I created three colorways–one based on the clever Odysseus himself; one based on his faithful and wise wife, Penelope; and one based on their son, Telemachus.

I just dyed up more of these sets on several different yarn bases.

Silk Scarves
