Solitary Skein Sale

Good morning and happy Friday to you! This week our daughter, son-in-law, and adorable grandson came up to visit for Independence Day. We had a great time. Little Eddie is at that wonderful stage where he smiles and laughs so easily and is still happy with anyone. Here he is hanging out with his uncles in my studio.

Isn’t he adorable? He’s 5 months old now!

Solitary Skein Sale

I am having a Solitary Skein Sale this weekend. Solitary skeins are what I call the last skein in a particular colorway and on a particular yarn base. Just use the coupon code SOLITARY15 to take 15% off or click on this link to have the coupon code added to your cart. I have a variety of colorways from almost all of the different yarn bases included in the sale. Here is just a sampling of what is included:

You can see all the Solitary Skeins right here.

I usually try to just have one dye batch of a given colorway in the shop at a time, so once these are sold out I can make more.

Fresh from the Dye Pots

Because of the cutie-pie above, I did not get quite as much dyeing done as usual this week, but I did dye up Purple Iris on several different yarn bases, including Stained Glass Sock for the first time:

I also got all some dyed to order skeins of Diamond Silk Sock dyed up plus a few extras, so now I have at least one of each of the original five colorways available in the shop.

Show and Tell Next Week

I am going to be doing a Show and Tell newsletter next week where I get to share your wonderful projects. Please email me with your works in progress and your finished objects that include at least some Purple Lamb yarn and fiber. I can’t wait to see (and share ) what you have been up to!

Now I’m off to start dyeing the July club colorways. See you next week. Until then, happy fiber artistry!
