Black Friday Sale Preview and December Club Colorway

Good morning, and happy Friday! First of all, I hope you have a great Thanksgiving holiday. Thanksgiving will definitely be a little unusual this year, but I hope it will be a blessing for you nonetheless.

I have so many new colorways in the shop right now, and I’ll show you a few while we chat.

My main goal today, though, is to let you know what I’ll be doing for Black Friday/Small Biz Saturday/Cyber Monday. Is there a name for the Sunday after Black Friday? If there is, I don’t know it, but I’m having a sale then too.

I’m doing something a little different this year. Each of those four days, I will be offering a different awesome coupon code for you to use.

I wanted to go ahead and tell you what to expect and give you the coupon codes now so you can make your plans. I’ll give them to you in a nice, concise list at the end of this newsletter that you can copy and paste into your calendar or to-do list.

Here’s what you can expect:

Free Gift

First of all, I’ll be giving the first 15 people who make their purchases on Black Friday through Cyber Monday a 10 g mini skein dyed in my Party Like It’s 2021 colorway. Those are all dyed up and ready to go.

Black Friday

On the day of Black Friday, I’m offering 20% off all of the hand-dyed and handspun yarn in stock in my shop.

This does not include dyed to order or clubs, but it does include all the yarn that is already dyed up or spun.

The coupon code for that day is BLACKFRIDAY, and it will work all day.

Small Business Saturday

On Small Business Saturday, I’m offering 15% off all my art batts and hand-dyed top. In fact, I’m in the process of dyeing up more organic Polwarth and fine merino top as we speak so it will be ready to go, and I have lots of art batts available too.

The coupon code for Saturday is SMALLBIZSATURDAY.

Turkey Sandwich Sunday

Like I said before, I don’t know if there’s a name for the Sunday after Thanksgiving, but we’re calling it TURKEYSANDWICHSUNDAY, which is the coupon code for Sunday.

On Turkey Sandwich Sunday, I’m offering 10% off all my yarn and fiber except my clubs, and for once that even includes my dyed-to-order colorways, which I don’t normally discount.

So if you want one of my colorways on a different yarn base than I have dyed up, or if you need more skeins than I have in stock, you can order them from the Dyed to Order section of my shop.

Cyber Monday

On Cyber Monday, I’m giving you the opportunity to get something for you and something for a friend too. When you spend $150 in my shop on Cyber Monday, I’ll also give you a $25 gift card. Just use the coupon code CYBERMONDAY.

Please note that you do have to put the $25 gift card in your shopping cart for the coupon code to work, and then once you enter the coupon code, it should show a discount of $25.

You’ll receive the gift card by email, and then you can send it on to a friend if you choose to do so or use it for a future purchase in my shop. My gift cards never expire!

All Together Now

To recap, here are all the coupon codes:

Black Friday (11/27) – Use code BLACKFRIDAY for 20% off all in-stock yarn

Small Biz Saturday (11/28) – Use code SMALLBIZSATURDAY for 15% off all spinning fiber

Turkey Sandwich Sunday (11/29) – Use code TURKEYSANDWICHSUNDAY for 10% off all yarn and fiber including dyed to order yarn. Only my clubs are excluded.

And don’t forget–the early birds get the mini skeins. The first 15 people to check out will each receive a 10 g mini skein dyed in my Party Like It’s 2021 colorway.

Club Colorway for December

Last December, I chose Gerrit Van Honthorst’s “Adoration of the Shepherds.” This year, I’m choosing a painting entitled “Virgin and Child” by Elisabetta Sirani. She is a rare successful female artist from the Italian Baroque era, and I love the way this painting shows the affection between Mary and Jesus!

I think that’s everything for today. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Stay well, and happy fiber artistry!
