All the Autumn Colorways

I love autumn with the drier air, cooler breezes, and fabulous colors of leaves! We’re not there yet here in Texas, but a friend who lives in Washington State said it’s already soup weather there. I’m insanely jealous!

Whether autumn has arrived where you are or not, you can get a head start with fall colorways.

This week I thought I could show you a sampling of my fall yarn and art batts and show you where to find all of them in one place on my website.

Autumn Yarn

One of my most popular autumn colorways is Autumn Leaves, which is a block variegated colorway. Here it is on Buttery Soft DK:

Another favorite is Afremov’s Farewell to Anger. This one was inspired by a gorgeous modern painting. Here it is on Stained Glass Fingering:

Both Autumn Leaves and Afremov’s Farewell to Anger would look wonderful with The Winedark Sea, shown here on Buttery Soft DK:

If you prefer greens, Enchanted Forest might be perfect for your next project. Here it is on Sock Perfection:

This next one is Oak Creek Canyon, which was inspired by a beautiful hike just north of Sedona, Arizona. Here it is on Stained Glass Fingering:

I have lots more, and I’ll show you where to find all of them below.

Art Batts

If you are a spinner or felter, you might enjoy some of my autumn-inspired art batts. Here are a few of the possibilities.

There’s Autumn Festival, which was inspired by Jane Austen’s Emma:

There’s Pumpkin Spice Latte:

There’s also Sedona, which looks like autumn all year long:

Autumn Collection

You can find all the autumn yarn and art batts and a couple other goodies in the new Autumn Collection on my website right here. You can use the filters to see just what you’re looking for.

Deadline for the Advent Calendar

Thank you so much to everyone who has already ordered an Advent calendar. I have all the yarn and boxes in my studio now for all of the orders. I want to leave the preorder open as long as possible, but I also need to leave plenty of time to make them and get them to you. Therefore, the last day to order your Advent calendar is going to be Monday, September 21st.

9/11

Today we remember and mourn for all who died on 9/11 twenty-five years ago. I would especially like to focus on the heroes and heroines who sacrificed their lives for others that day. Let us never forget the firemen and police officers who ran up the stairs of the Twin Towers to save as many as they could. Let us never forget the extraordinary courage of the passengers of Flight 93 who stormed the cockpit and managed to divert the plane heading for Washington to a field, doubtless saving so many lives that day. Let us never forget the way we came together and supported one another in the days and months that followed that horrific day.

I hope you have a peaceful and restful weekend!
