Tulips – A Fresh New Colorway for Spring

I have a new colorway to share with you this week. It’s simply called Tulips, and it was inspired by our visit to the Tulip Festival in Holland, Michigan, many years ago. Here is Tulips dyed up on Sock Perfection:

Here is a little (unblocked) swatch I knit in stockinette so you can get an idea of how it will work up:

This is a splashed and speckled colorway that isn’t likely to pool. These are such fun spring colors! It looks great with Rosy-Fingered Dawn, Lilac, Matcha Latte, Cherry Blossom, and Purple Delight. Here it is with Purple Delight:

…and here it is with Cherry Blossom:

Please forgive the lack of label on Cherry Blossom. I just finished rinsing it this morning, and it’s still drying.

As of this writing, Tulips is available on Sock Perfection and as a dyed to order colorway on any base you like.

Fresh from the Dye Pots

It has been a good, productive week. In addition to Tulips and Cherry Blossom shown above, I dyed several assigned pooling colorways this week, including Peacock Feathers

It’s Complicated

…and Van Gogh’s Starry Night:

You can see these and several other fresh-dyed colorways right here in the New section of my shop.

A Day in the Life of a Mom

I’ll leave you with a hilarious video of what a day in the life as a mom is like in 3 minutes by Anita Renfroe. This definitely seems true to life to me! If it won’t play directly in your email, here’s the link.

Have a great week! See you next Friday!
