I have some beautiful projects to share with you this week. Let’s start with Anne who finished both the 2024 and 2025 Advent calendars recently. For 2025 she crocheted Dawn Barker’s Agnes Shawl:

Here it is hung up:

Isn’t that lovely? Anne said she changed the order of the colorways to work well with the pattern.
For 2024 she used the Baubles and Berries Wrap pattern by Sandra Paul:

I love them both, don’t you?
Next we have this beautiful felted bowl made by Caprice:

She used Copper Roof art batts to make it.
Kelley made this gorgeous triangular shawl using Patricia Liefeld’s Chione Shawl pattern:

She used Lilac, Monet’s Cathedral, and Eggplant in Feather Sock. I really love the lacy edge!
Next we have Lark’s 2025 Advent calendar. She knit the Past Present Future Blanket by Mirjam Molenbeek:

What a beautiful blanket!
Next we have some gorgeous handspun yarn that Laurel made:

She used Marc’s Large Blue Horses art batts and plied it with black cotton thread. She said this was only her second skein of handspun yarn! How amazing is that?
Lea Anne sent in photos of this beautiful scarf she made:

The pattern is the Aguafria Scarf by Carmen Oliveras, and she used Alpine Sky on Twinkle Sock to make it. Here’s a closeup that shows the light blue better:

Next we have Lynn’s amazing shawl, which she designed as well as knit:

Lynn used Bouquet and Eggplant to make this. I especially love the stitches of Bouquet peaking through Eggplant. Don’t you love the “supervisory” cat as well?
Lynn also finished a beautiful shawl she made from Texas Bluebonnet:

She designed that shawl as well! She said she designs as she goes, which I think is amazing.
Next we have a project from my dear friend Paula who is working on her 2024 Advent calendar. She used Sandra Paul’s Baubles and Berries crochet pattern:

I love those stitches!
I’ll finish with a project of my own:

This is my Knit and Chat Infinity Cowl that I made afresh using Monet’s Cathedral and Cream Suri Lace Cloud held together. I’m going to be updating the pattern to make the cowl twice as tall (like this one), and I’ll share that with you in a week or two.

Kristin Lavransdatter
A few weeks ago I brought Kristin Lavransdatter back as a yarn colorway. It was inspired by the title character from Sigrid Undset’s amazing trilogy set in medieval Norway. If you’ve never had the pleasure of reading it, I can’t recommend it enough! I decided to knit a small sample of the yarn so you can get a feel for how it works up:

Kristin Lavransdatter looks great with Purple Delight, Fuchsia Flower, Lilac, Eggplant, Burgundy Rose, and Coral. I also have Kristin Lavransdatter art batts for all the spinners and felters.
I think that’s everything. Have a wonderful weekend!
