This Sunday is the last day to order your 2025 Advent calendar. On Monday I’m going to make a final order for the rest of the yarn and get started dyeing them. I can hardly wait to get started!
This year’s theme is The Colors of Serenity. For both the yarn and the fiber Advent calendars, I’ll be making a gradient set using the peaceful, serene colors in this photo:

Just think–in the midst of all of the busyness leading up to the holidays, you’ll have a respite to look forward to each day as you open and create with these soothing colors!
Just so you know, I will not be including the palm tree in the top left corner, but everything else you see will be there. I have already chosen the 25 colors from the photograph that I’ll be using. It’s sort of hard to believe that there are 25 colors in this photograph, but there definitely are!
The yarn Advent calendar will come with 25 mini skeins on your choice of Silken Sock, Stained Glass Sock, or Wonderful Worsted. It also comes with the options of a full-sized skein to go with the minis and/or Suri Lace Cloud to hold double. Since I have multiple yarn weights, I decided to include a list of possible patterns rather than a single pattern.
The fiber Advent calendar for spinners and felters comes with 25 boxes of fibery goodness. Most of the boxes will have fine merino top, but some will have silk, bamboo, baby alpaca, and sparkly Angelina. The fiber calendar comes with the option of hand-dyed locks to add texture to your spinning or felting.
You can learn more and order your Advent calendar right here until Sunday, August 3rd.

Show and Tell Next Week
We’re doing a Show and Tell newsletter next week where you can send in photos of what you’re working on and what you’ve finished. Shoot me an email with your latest project and the colorways you used. If you used a pattern, please include the name of the pattern too so I can share that. I love seeing and sharing what you have all been working on!
I hope you have a great weekend! See you next week!
