If you are looking for a unique Christmas gift for a friend or family member, I have some great ideas for you. Since time is getting short, I’m going to focus on items that are available to ship right now or don’t even need shipping.
Hand-Dyed Silk Scarves
This first idea doesn’t even require that the recipient be crafty. I dyed each of these silk scarves by hand, and each one is truly unique. These are great to wear all year long!

Stitch Markers
If you need a thoughtful stocking stuffer for a knitter or crocheter, these handmade stitch markers might fit the bill:

Each set comes with five stitch markers and a gourd safety pin to attach them to one’s project bag. The ones above are made of little seashells in different colors, and the ones below are metal flowers.

Both have clasps that open, so they can be used for crochet and for knitting. They come in a gift-worthy organza bag. You can find all the stitch markers right here.

Art-Inspired Club Subscription
If you want a gift that will bring a smile to the recipient’s face month after month, consider signing up for my art-inspired monthly club. Each month, I create a new club colorway inspired by a famous painting. We are going in chronological order, and we are in the early 1600s right now. I have five different yarn bases to choose from, and I also offer art batts for spinners and felters. It’s easy to switch from one yarn base to another. Also, if you want to give the subscription for a set number of months, just let me know and I’ll keep track and cancel it for you when the time comes. You can sign up for the club on behalf of your favorite fiber artist right here.

Yarn and Fiber
There’s still time to get in-stock yarn to your favorite fiber artist, and I have lots in stock. You can find all the in-stock yarn right here.
I also have some hand-dyed kid mohair locks and hand-dyed top in stock. For that matter, so long as you order before Monday, we should be able to make and ship art batts in time for Christmas too. These are such a treat for spinners and felters to use! You can find all my art batts and other fiber right here.

Gift Cards
Last but certainly not least are gift cards. These are great when you aren’t quite sure which yarn or fiber colorways your favorite fiber artist would enjoy most. You can have them automatically delivered to the recipient’s email address on the day you choose!

They are good for everything in my shop except my clubs, and they never expire or lose value.
Hopefully this will help you find the perfect gift for your favorite fiber artist. Of course you can also feel free to forward my newsletter as a not-so-subtle hint to your “yarn and fiber enabler.”

Bluebonnet Blue
This week I have a new colorway for you. Last summer we worked together to help the folks in central Texas who had such devastating floods with the Texas Bluebonnet colorway. Since then I have been wanting to make a semi-solid colorway with that same gorgeous periwinkle blue of Texas Bluebonnet, and I finally did it this week. I’m calling it Bluebonnet Blue.

I dyed Bluebonnet Blue on Sock Perfection and Twinkle Sock, and it’s available dyed to order on all the yarn bases too. You can see Bluebonnet Blue right here.

Fresh from the Dye Pots
In addition to Bluebonnet Blue, I dyed Enchanted Forest and Burgundy Rose this week. Here’s Enchanted Forest on Stained Glass Fingering:
