Fresh from the Dye Pots

This week I got to dye all four Vivaldi’s Four Seasons colorways, some more butterfly colorways, and a matching trio of colorways on Squoosh Worsted. Let me show you.

Here are the four Vivaldi colorways on Sock Perfection:

I also dyed them all on Squoosh DK. You can find them all right here.

I also dyed more Indian Jezebel and Colorado Hairstreak butterflies. Those are the two assigned-pooling butterfly colorways and also the ones with the funniest names! Here is Indian Jezebel on Stained Glass Sock:

…and here is Colorado Hairstreak on Stained Glass DK:

I also dyed Enchanted Forest for the first time in a long time on Stained Glass Sock. Here that is:

I love to combine this colorway with Annunciation Blue.

I also dyed Eowyn Meets with Aragorn on Buttery Soft DK for the first time. I really love it on this base, and I hope you do too (she says while trying to resist nabbing a skein for her stash).

Last but not least, I dyed Monet, Purple Delight, and Epiphany on Squoosh Worsted. Here they are together:

I have each of these on a variety of different yarn bases in addition to Squoosh Worsted.

Lines and Circles

You may have already noticed this, but if you are browsing through my shop, the yarn that is ready to ship is shown in a circle like this:

Lilac on Feather Sock

…and all the dyed to order yarn is shown in a “line” like this:

That might help you to visually find what you’re looking for.

On a Personal Note

I am in the midst of a mad dash to get everything done before I get the call from my oldest daughter or her husband that she is in labor. It will probably be another couple weeks, but who knows? As soon as I get that call, two of us will be heading down there to help. They live about 5 hours south of us, and I do not envy her being very pregnant in Texas in the heat of summer! One of our youngest sons is coming with me to be the entertainment committee for Eddie, who is 2-1/2. He’s such a sweet little guy and so bright–just like his parents. I hope he adjusts well to his new baby brother or sister!
