The hand-dyed top and commercial top are ready to ship within 1-2 business days, but we make the art batts when you order them for maximum fluffiness, so please allow about a week for us to make those and ship them off to you.
Art batts are sort of the specialty of the house around here. If you have never spun from an art batt before, you’re in for a treat. In my opinion, they are so enjoyable to spin because you get to see and feel all the different fibers as you spin. I have a blog post on different methods for spinning from art batts right here, but my favorite way is to gently tear the art batt in half lengthwise and then tear the halves one more time and spin from each quarter.

A New Colorway
I have a new-to-the-shop colorway to share with you this week. It’s Masaccio’s Tribute Money, which was my February club colorway. I love it so much, and I’ve been waiting to sharing it with all of you. Once in a while I take a club colorway and add it to the shop, but only after at least 6 months have passed. Fresh from the Dye Pots
I’ve been very busy in the studio since returning from helping with our new grandson. I just finished shipping off the fiber Advent calendars, and I’m excited to finally have some open time to work on some new ideas I’m cooking up.
This week I have dyed lots of different colorways on lots of different yarn bases. Here are some of the colorways:
