RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL - Art Batts, Spinning Batts, Felting Batts, 2 Ounce Batts, Merino Batts, Silk Batts, Bamboo Batts, Mohair Locks

Only 1 left in stock

Imagine the warmth and richness of a renaissance festival, and you'll get the feel of this wonderful new colorway. It is made of soft merino, silky bamboo, royal muga silk, and the wonderful texture of extra-soft kid mohair locks along with a bit of shimmer in the form of both firestar and angelina.

If you are a felter, the total percentage of feltable materials is 67%, so proceed with caution. If you're a spinner like I am, throw caution to the wind and have a blast spinning all these different soft textures. It would make a wonderful corespun, supercoil, thick and thin, or 2-ply yarn. Take a look at the last picture to see an example of the fractal yarn I made using a Renaissance Festival batt.

Carding Style: Carded once in 2 layers of stripes

Each batt is shipped to you in a lovely organza drawstring bag to prevent it from getting dusty or humid until you are ready to use it. It also has a label to let you know what it's made of for future reference. This makes a great presentation if you are giving art batts as a gift to your favorite spinner or felter as well.

Also, as a token of my appreciation, I am including your choice of either a sprig of fresh rosemary or a handmade felt ball infused with essential lavender oil with your order. Both of these are natural moth deterrents. If you would prefer not to have either one, just choose the no scent option instead.

Happy fiber artistry!
